Lake Taneycomo Trout Fishing Guide in Branson

A Branson fishing trip focused on trout.

Taneycomo is the trout option among our four lakes. Meet at Cooper Creek Access, and let Bryan know whether your group is new to trout fishing or has a particular target in mind. Your fishing plan depends on conditions on the day.

Meeting point: Cooper Creek Access, 165 Cooper Creek Road, Branson, Missouri. Bryan confirms the exact meeting point before you travel.

Target fish: Rainbow & brown trout. Catches are never guaranteed.

Trip times and your private boat

Taneycomo trips depart at 8:00 AM Central time. Choose a two-, four-, six-, or eight-hour trip for your group.

Trips run Monday through Thursday. Request your trip at least 24 hours ahead. Your date is confirmed only after Bryan accepts the request.

Fish aboard a 2024, 21-foot Ranger center console with room for one to five guests. New anglers and families are welcome. Children count toward the guest limit; coordinate their life jackets with Bryan before the trip.

What’s included, and what to bring

Rods, reels, tackle, bait, lures, water, and an ice box are included. Cleaning is included for fish you keep within legal limits.

Bring any required Missouri fishing permits, sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, clothing for the weather, and your own snacks if you like. Fishing permits are not included. Alcohol is not allowed.

Booking your Lake Taneycomo fishing guide

Choose a date, duration, and guest count in the trip request form. No deposit is collected online. Pay the full trip total to Captain Bryan at the lake after your request is confirmed.

Contact Bryan at least 24 hours before departure if you need to cancel. Weather or unsafe conditions may require a change. Read the booking terms before requesting.
